Mount Baker Race Team

 

 

Dates: March 13, 14 & 15

 

Location: Mt Spokane Ski & Snowboard Resort

 

Hosted By:  Spokane Ski Racing Association (SSRA)

 

Event: J4/J5 Combined Slalom and Super-G

 

Entry:  Invitation limited to top MBRT 7 Boys and top 7 Girls  J4 or J5.  GS Qualifier to be held early February at Mt Baker.

 

Fees: Typical entry fee is around $170 which includes lift tickets & Banquet Tickets, MBRT Traveling Team  $50/yr, Coaching Fees $35/day and current USSA Youth Competitor $60/year

 

Registration: Registration is by Team.  Coaches will hand entry forms to those racers who qualify.

Lodging:  Quality Inn, Spokane  (MBRT has a hold numerous rooms at the discount rate)

Important:

Prior to Registration, all Buddy Werner Competitors MUST have:

MBRT Traveling Team Liability Waiver
MBRT Traveling Team Fees Paid and up to date
USSA Youth Competitor Card

Tuning & Ski Prep:

We ask you arrive at the venue, with tuned and waxed skis, we will have some tuning and waxing time on Fri and Sat evening, but wax rooms can be very busy, so the less that has to be done the better.

Traditions:

Coach Shane likes a large scoop of Ice Cream before the Opening Ceremonies followed by the customary “Dog Pile” after the Team photos.
