About Us

Komo Kulshan Ski Club’s Mt. Baker Race Team gives enthusiastic local skiers the opportunity to develop their competitive skills and the broader emotional and organizational skills ski racing demands through regional competition. Our coaching staff includes the same Mt. Baker Ski Area Racer Development Program coaches that train junior racers ages 8 through 18 weekly throughout the winter ski season. Away races throughout the Northwest put this training to the test. Traveling race opportunities cover more than half of the winter weekends.

More on MBRT

Each spring the Team hosts the Raven’s Edge race for skiers and snowboarders. Ski clubs from around the region send delegations to compete, and the event is open to walk-in competitors also.

Our dual-slalom down Big Hemi is being planned for April 14 and 15, 2012.

The Race Team is a program of the Komo Kulshan Ski Club, a 501(c)(3) public charity supporting youth snowsports activities in our area.
